Aboriginal Art- Yang En-sheng Painted the Amis Daughter

 The “aboriginal art series- Amis Daughter” watercolor painting lecture was held on November 25th in NTNU Wen Hui Building. The general education center teacher Yang En-sheng painted at the lecture. Chiang Han-wei from Department of Psychology and Counseling was the painting’s model. Many teachers and students stop and appreciated the painting.

Yang En-sheng was graduated from NTNU Graduate Institute of Art. He specialized in art history, color painting, and sketch. He was the first generation of Taiwan ecology artist. He indicated that the Amis clothing were more colorful and bright so he used the big area of bright color to paint. The 90 minutes of painting, Yang sketched the figure and filled in with colors. The amazing painting at the end surprised the crowd.

The model Chiang Han-wei was half Amis and half Atayal. She indicated that it was her first time to be the model, the head ornaments were heavy but when she saw the painting, everything was worth it. Yang En-sheng’s paintings showed the variation of watercolor painting strategy. The aboriginal series exhibition would be displayed in Wen Hui Building next week.
