NTNU Periodical Was Selected into International Database
NTNU Center for Educational Research and Evaluation periodical “Modern Educational Research” was selected in the International Database SCOPUS. The celebration tea party was held on April 25th at College of Education. Principal Chang Kuo-en and Vice Principal Cheng Chi-fu attended the celebration.
“Modern Educational Research” was an educational academic periodical. It targeted on passing down the information of the education research achievement, to exchange the academic experience, and to promote the level of educational research. It was selected into Taiwan Social Science Citation Index in 2005. The project was led by the former director of Center for Educational Research and Evaluation Chen Hsiao-lan and the current director Liao Yuan-kuang. They followed the standard of SCOPUS and completed the “Chinese English Citation” and “English Website Building”. Therefore, there was the chance to select into the International Database.
SCOPUS is the largest abstract and citation database of research literature and quality web sources covering nearly 18,000 titles from more than 5,000 publishers. SCOPUS collected business periodical, academic periodical, seminar paper, book publication, and patent documents. NTNU Center for Educational Research and Evaluation applied for it in 2011 and was selected into it in 2012 after a half-year examination.
