Beijing Foreign Studies University Called On NTNU
2012 the 3rd Beijing Spring ended in April. Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) called on NTNU on July 24th. Vice Director Liang Yi Ping from Office of International Affairs received the guests. Yang Pei Jung form Department of Taiwan Culture, Language and Literature who participated in the Beijing Spring this year specially came from Chang Hua to greet the friends from Beijing.
BFSU was established in 1941. It was the target development school in China Ministry of Education. It had 54 languages courses currently. Beijing Spring started in 2010. Taiwan students formed a team to Beijing in April and Beijing students formed a team to Taiwan in summer.
Director Liu Po Jen from BFSU Office of International Affairs indicated that it was his second time to NTNU. He had left a great memory last time he visited. Director Liu would call on NTNU Department of English in September again. Students from BFSU had discovered the cultural differences between Taiwan and China.
Taipei Shih Chien University was in charged to receive students from BFSU to call on different university in Taiwan. Students form Shih Chien University accompanied students from BFSU to do sightseeing in Taiwan.
