NTNU Science Education Center Celebrates Curiosity Landing on Mars

 National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) successfully landed the Mars rover Curiosity on Mars on August 6th, 2012. 300 people rolled in Taipei Astronomical Museum to concern Curiosity landing on Mars. As the news reported that Curiosity had landed successfully, Taipei Astronomical Museum specially guided the public to see the special 2012 Mars exhibition.

It was the first time ever NASA successfully landed on other planet. Curiosity approached Mars at about 13,000 miles per hour and touched down on the surface of the Red Planet. It was 354 million miles away from Earth. 
The 2012 Mars exhibition was provided by NTNU Science Education Center and American Institute in Taiwan. The technique part in the exhibition was supported by NTNU Science Education Center Director Chang Chun Yen and his team. The team focused and devoted to advance technique application in education. They were highly approved and had several outstanding accomplishments. The technique was firstly used in the education. Combined the interactive image technique and provided a new image for public. It was the education spirit of NTNU.
