NTNU Placed the Top 500 of QS World University Rankings for the Continuous Three Years

 England Higher Education Investigation Company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) released the latest world university rankings. NTNU was in the section of 451-500. It was the continuous third year that was placed in the top 500 universities. The fine arts and humanity field had outstanding performance. It rose from 201 last year to 148 this year.

United States Massachusetts Institute of Technology defeated England University of Cambridge and took down the first place for the first time. In the top 20 world universities, 13 universities were from United States and 4 universities from England. It was Massachusetts Institute of Technology, University of Cambridge, Harvard University, University College London, University of Oxford, Imperial College London, Yale University, The University of Chicago, Princeton University, and California State Polytechnic University.
The best university in Asia was The University of Hong Kong, placed 23. The following were National University of Singapore, The University of Tokyo, China Peking University, China Tsing Hua University, and China Fudan University.
The universities in Taiwan that placed in the top 400 were National Taiwan University, National Tsing Hua University, National Chiao Tung University, National Cheng Kung University, National Yang Ming University, Taipei Medical University and National Taiwan University of Science and Technology.
NTNU was placed in the section of 451-500. The social science and management field was in the 310. The fine arts and humanity was in the 148.
Other Taiwan Universities in top 500 were Chang Gung University, National Sun Yat Sen University, and National Central University.
