Minister of Ministry of Education Receives International Exhibition for Young Inventors Golden Medal Winners
NTNU Professor Hung Jung Chao from Department of Industrial Education led the Minister of Ministry of Education Chiang Wei-Ning to receive the golden medal winner of the 8th Thailand Bangkok International Exhibition for Young Inventors on September 26th. He awarded the prices and praised students’ outstanding performances. And expected the new team which just selected in August will have great performances in the 9th International Exhibition for Young Inventors in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur next year.
Professor Hung Jung Chao encouraged the guiding teachers, parents, and students to put their imagination into action. There were a lot of chances to learn in the process and many possibilities. The invention “Fashion Blind People Safety Shoe” invented by Lin Yi Tung and Lu Yu Ching was inspired by their idol Hsiao Huang Chi. The shoe attached with the infrared rays device which could detect the obstacles in 2 meters while walking. Making the beep sound or vibrating to remind the users.
Many students introduced their works to Minister Chiang in English. Minister Chiang encouraged students to stay curious and enhance self-ability. He expected students to invent something that would benefit the society in the future.
