The Final Tour of The “Youth Music makers from Shanghai, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Joint Broadcast Concert”

The “Youth Music makers from Shanghai, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Joint Broadcast Concert” had been through 2 years and performed in 3 places. The final tour was on November 4th at NTNU hall. Professor Hsu Ching Hsin from NTNU Department of music and Professor Wang Chia Yang from The Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts were both the conductors of the concert. The concert was live broadcast through radio to China and Taiwan. 
The “Youth Music makers from Shanghai, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Joint Broadcast Concert” was the outstanding young music makers from Shanghai, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan cooperated together to perform solo, ensemble, chamber music, and string music. The repertoire included the “Divertimento” by Mozart, “Introduction and Allegro” by Elgar, and “The Four Seasons” by Vivaldi.
All the performers were under 18. The violoncellist Hung Chia Yang was only 13. He was from Hong Kong Diocesan Boys’ School. He indicated that he was very nervous before the tour. Through cooperating with other young performers from Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Hong Kong The Academy of Performing Arts, and the Macao Youth Symphony Orchestra Association, Hung Chia Yang had learned a lot from others.
NTNU Principal Chang Kuo En was at the concert as well. Principal Chang indicated that concert was not only a place to show your talent but also a place for people to exchange emotions. He expected to build up a good example for Taiwan culture activity industry.
