NTNU Signed the Memorandum of Understanding with Korea College of Confucian Studies & Eastern Philosophy

NTNU College of International Studies and Education for Overseas Chinese signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Korea College of Confucian Studies & Eastern Philosophy on 16th of November. Both sides had reached an agreement on the Confucian studies and East Asia studies. The cooperation would follow up with some academic exchange.

The MOU was signed by the dean of NTNU College of International Studies and Education for Overseas Chinese Pan Chao Yang and the dean of Korea College of Confucian Studies & Eastern Philosophy Wu Hsi Yuan.
Korea College of Confucian Studies & Eastern Philosophy was the higher education institute established in 1398. It had 600 years history so far. On the QS Asia Universities list in 2012, it was placed at the 24. The college had signed the sister school contract with more than 500 universities in the world. They had outstanding performances and contributions to the Confucian studies research. The college provided program of Korean philosophy, Chinese philosophy and culture, and art philosophy as well.
Besides, NTNU College of International Studies and Education for Overseas Chinese had just signed the MOU with China Wu Han University on 28th of June. It would cooperate with the Confucian studies institute in Japan and Vietnam in the following days. Through these kinds of international cooperation to enhance the quality of Confucian studies research in NTNU.
