Department of East Asian Studies Held the Seminar with Japanese Ph. D and Master Students

 Japanese East Asian Studies Ph. D and Master Students Taiwan Tour called on NTNU Department of East Asian Studies on the 21st of November. The participated members included Director Chang Kun Chiang and Professor Lin Hsian Shan, Professor Shao Hsuan Lei, and 10 students from NTNU Department of East Asian Studies, and 11 East Asian Studies Ph. D and Master Students from Japan and the leader Professor Asano Okada. 

The meeting was the program organized by the Ministry of Education. It was to promote the Taiwanese and Japanese students to concern more and understand more about the East Asia problems. Both side exchanged the research experiences and built up the information exchange platform as well. Fully developed the Taiwan and Japan relationship and the basic human resources. The meeting was carried out by the questions the university students from Taiwan and Japan brought out, discussed the certain issues and published the thesis, visited the related culture spots as well. 
Mainly Japanese, and English and Chinese were carried out through the meeting. The participated members could speak fluent Japanese. In the one hour seminar, both sides brought up the topic and discussed the issues freely. The issues were mainly about how to definite the situation of East Asia and the character of Taiwan in East Asia. Under the leading of professors, both students from Taiwan and Japan learned a lot from different perspective of views.
