Mandarin Training Center Students Received Awards in the Mandarin Lecture Contest

 NTNU Mandarin Training Center students participated in the “2012 Sun Yet Sun Memorial Hall Foreign Students Mandarin Lecture Contest” and “2012-2013 Rotary International Club Foreign Students in Taiwan Mandarin Lecture Contest” and received great awards.

Mandarin Training Center selected 5 students to participated in the “2012 Sun Yet Sun Memorial Hall Foreign Students Mandarin Lecture Contest”. Pu Jen Ying from Korea talked about her unforgettable memory in Taiwan was her experience of traveling to the south of Taiwan with friends and met someone from the local to show them around. She appreciated the hospitality of Taiwanese people. Another student Liu Heng Nuo from Belgium experienced the cultural differences between Eastern and Western after he came to Taiwan. He was fascinated by the Eastern culture and highly interested in the Chinese traditional instruments. He played the traditional Taiwanese songs with erhu fiddle in the contest and won the round applause. Both students won the fifth place in the contest. 
Luo Wen Chun from Republic of Panama participated in the 2012-2013 Rotary International Club Foreign Students in Taiwan Mandarin Lecture Contest”. He was guided by the teacher Huang Gui Ying from Mandarin Training Center and practiced a lot in his free time. He got the second place in the contest.
