Sustainable Development and Global Climate Change Research and Study Result Presentation

 NTNU Center of General Education held the 2013 “Sustainable Development and Global Climate Change Research and Study Result Presentation” at NTNU College of Education International Hall on 11th and 12th of January. 

The global climate change had led to the extreme climate weather in the past few years. Taiwan was located in the highly developed part of Asia. The geography location made it easily to be damaged. Plus the factor of populous population, Taiwan was one of the most vulnerable areas in the world. Therefore, our government actively promoted the national sustainable development and the national ability of adaption. Ministry of Education cooperated with the spirit of UNESCO “Sustainable Development Education 10 years Program” and “United Nation Framework Convention on Climate Change” to organize our own climate change education.
In order to promote the sustainable development and global climate change education, the higher education institutes played an important role in it. Since 2012, Ministry of Education held the related program and courses and the “Sustainable Development and Global Climate Change Research and Study Result Presentation”. Besides providing a platform for the teachers to exchange their teaching experience but also brought everyone together to face the problems. 
NTNU Vice Principal Cheng Chi Fu indicated that it was an honor for NTNU to hold such event. NTNU was focusing on building the green buildings. Everyone should be responsible for our environment and future.
