The Division of Preparatory Programs Held University Expo

The Division of Preparatory Programs for Overseas Chinese Students held an international University Exposition on 8th December. As much as 95 colleges and universities are invited to set stalls at the Division of Preparatory Programs, making it the biggest University Expo ever.

Linkou Senior High School, National Overseas Chinese Senior High School and the United Chinese School Committees' Association of Malaysia visiting group were invited as guests, so that students and teachers can know more about the university in Taiwan.
It was a bit chilled that day, but people who came and joined the fair was pretty enthusiastic. Representatives from universities gave out flyers to students and talked to them about the features of their schools.
In the opening ceremony, the beating of the drum delivers the beauty of power. President Chang Kuo En greeted everyone and thanked Director Tsai Ya Hsun in particular for this event and showed his gratitude for every school’s participation. President Chang also gave enthusiastic award for schools that have been coming over 5 years in a row.

Huang Ching-Tung, the Secretary General of National Taiwan University of Science and Technology and Director Tseng Ching Fang from Chinese School Committees' Association of Malaysia and Principal of Myanmar Overseas Chinese School, and the Principal of National Overseas Chinese Senior High School all came in person to show their support. Programs like catwalks and dance performances won huge applause from the audiences.
There were nearly 1000 students from the Division of Preparatory Programs in the event, if the guests and students are included, there will be 1700 people. All participating schools think that it was a really nice University Expo.

Students from the Division of Preparatory Programs mostly agree on that the stalls are neat and well-organized, and representatives of each school are willing to answer questions and talk. They hope that more departments can join the University Expo next year.
