Guests of Taiwan Vietnam Educational Forum Visited NTNU

The educational visiting group of Taiwan Vietnam Forum, composed of Hanoi University of Law and Hanoi National University of Education and other 4 universities came to NTNU on September 19th. Vice President Sung Yao Ting, Vice President for International Affairs Yu Kuang Chao welcomed them. 
 Vice President Sung said that NTNU is one of the top universities in Taiwan and is specialized in humanities, art, science and sports science. He was glad that there are plenty of Mandarin courses and cultural activities in Vietnam. 
According to Vice President Sung, around 4000 students go to Vietnam to study and there are plenty of Vietnam born Chinese that come to Taiwan to learn. He hoped that through the actual visit, both sides can know more about each other in higher education and teaching.
Vice President of Hanoi University of Law said that they are grateful for the hospitality of NTNU and the experience sharing. Vietnam is now undergoing rapid development, and education is one of the priorities of the government. The frequent exchange activities from both sides are beneficial to students. 
Prof. Hong Jia Fei, Head of the Office of Teacher Education and Careers Service Liu Mei Hui, Vice director of the Research Center for Psychological and Educational Testing Tseng Fen Lan gave presentations about the research outcome in Chinese Teaching. The group visited MTC and Conservation and Preservation Center at NTNU. They were really impressed with the preservation of cultural objects and the outstanding Mandarin Training Center.
