English Teaching & Learning Collaborates with Publisher Springer Nature

To celebrate the collaboration of English Teaching & Learning and publisher Springer Nature, a celebration party was held on November 14th. It's the first time for NTNU to work with a foreign publisher, it's an important step for NTNU to in terms of Internationalization.
Vice President Wu Cheng Chih and senior editor Liu Yin Fan from Springer Nature. Chairman Chen, Hao Jan Howard and Chief Editor Yeh Hsi Nan attended all attended the party. Vice President Wu said that it's with this collaboration, the influence of NTNU in English teaching will increase, making NTNU a more Internationalized campus. 
English Teaching & Learning (ETL), started in 1976, is the first scholarly journal in Taiwan dedicated solely to research on the teaching and learning of English as a second or foreign language. It aims to publish quality papers that contribute to all aspects of the profession, with a particular preference for studies that seek to combine both theory and practice. The journal welcomes submissions on course design, teaching materials, teacher training, teaching methods, language assessment, bilingual education, as well as from the fields of sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, and other related areas. 
Springer Nature is a world-leading research, educational and professional publisher, providing quality content to our communities through a range of innovative platforms, products and services for almost 100 years. It's hoped that through this collaboration with the Department of English, the quality and citation rate will be improved and more English teaching professionals can take part in the journal.
