Graduate Institute of Hospitality Management and Education Opens

<p><font face="Arial">The Graduate Institute of Hospitality Management and Education with the only doctorate program in the nation was established at the Chin-pu Building on the main campus today.</font></p>
<p><font face="Arial">"A total of 85 colleges would offer related programs like ours but we are the only institute which would offer doctorate program,” said Christine Sun (孫瑜華), director for the institute.</font></p>
<p><font face="Arial">Sun made her remarks during the grand opening ceremony of the institute this morning, while Vice President Vincent Siew (蕭萬長) and Tourism Bureau Director-General Janice Lai (賴瑟珍) were present. Sun said that the institute will offer free consulting services with local hotels or restaurants in the future in return of potential internship chances for its students.</font></p>
<p><font face="Arial">Sun’s remarks were immediately echoed, now that Grand Formosa Regent Taipei responded that internship positions at the hotel will be promised to the institute’s students in the future.<br />
