Lin Shu-Zhen: Boundless Creativity is the Basis of Cultural Creativity Industry
This year, President Ma declared that cultural creativity to be listed as 1 of the 6 key emerging industries in Taiwan, and the Executive Yuan announced that NT$ 30 billion would be devoted in 4 years. The government further promised to turn Taiwan into the Asian centre of cultural creativity industry. Lin Shu-Zhen, chairperson of the Graduate Institute of Performing Arts, pointed that with the excellent faculties NTNU has in culture and arts, we know that we have the most important capital – talent and creativity. However, we must deal with the lack of professional performing venues.
