Fuxin Cultural Creativity Biennial

“Design adds value to industries, and creativity glorifies traditions,” says the 2-month long Fuxin Cultural Creativity Biennial, which opened on October 17th at Fuxin barn house in Changhua County. Fuxin barn house, the biggest Japanese style barn in Taiwan during the Japanese rule, was established in 1935. It is a building that converges history, local tradition and rice culture. Lin Pan-Song, curator as well as the director of the Cultural and Creative Industries Centre, NTNU, wishes to further people’s understanding of Fuxin culture, as well as to add value to Taiwan’s traditional culture by design, enhancing and glorifying its image and value with creativity.
