    NTNU enter the 500 best universities around the world for the first time. The minster of education Wu Ching-chi indicated that NTNU paid equal attention to the research and teaching. Especially in the scientific education field was placed the 8^th in the world.

    NTNU had trained many Olympia gold medal contestants. He hoped NTNU could keep working and strived for the 5 years 500 hundred million school. He also mentioned that NTNU is good at both the pedagogical academy and science academic and could even place in the 100 in the world. There were 9 school in Taiwan was placed in the world 500, and was the only one school which didn’t received the 5 years 500 hundred million program.
