AIT and NTNU Team up to Bridge the Achievement Gap

Members of AIT and National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) held a press conference today to commend the great progress made by a group of Hualien students learning English. This project, led by Fulbright alumni at National Taiwan Normal University, was one of 68 projects selected out of 1,014 project submissions from around the world and the only one from Taiwan. About 20 junior high school students who barely knew the English alphabets had made a tremendous progress and could order in English, sing English songs and become more confident using them.

Guests of Kyushu University Visited NTNU

In June 11th 2017, Prof. Imasaka Totaro from Chemistry Department and Lecturer Imasaka Tomoko from the Department of Environmental Design of Kyushu University visited NTNU. President Wu Cheng Chih, Vice President for International Affairs Yu Kuang Chao, Dean Chen Kwunmin from the College of Science and many professors from the Department of Chemistry welcomed them and had a nice conversation.

Sister School University of Northern Colorado Came to NTNU

Dean of the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Northern Colorado Eugene Sheehan, Prof. Michelle Low and Prof. I-Huei Lee from World Languages and Cultures visited NTNU on June 4th. Vice President for International Affairs Yu Kuang Chao and Associate Dean Jong-Long Guo of the College of Education welcomed them happily.

Alumnus Yang Wins Superior Taste Award with High Quality Tea

Alumnus of Graduate Institute of Sport, Leisure and Hospitality management class of 2007 Yang, Cheng Hua, devoted himself into tea industry instead of teaching and handsome salary of a foreign company, received the 2 Star award of the Superior Taste Award, iTQi with his brand Scentea.

NTNU Hosts Global Symposium on Systematic Pesticide

The 2018 International Symposium of TFSP on Impact of and Alternatives to Systematic Pesticides, held by by National Taiwan Normal University on June 29th at main campus of NTNU, is for calling attention to the impact of systemic pesticides on Taiwan's biodiversity and ecological environment with objective scientific viewpoints and alternative solutions.
