Pre-service teachers went to UBC for Practice Teaching

The University of British Columbia (UBC) is a public research university with campuses and facilities in Vancouver and Kelowna, British Columbia. Established in 1908, UBC is British Columbia's oldest institution of higher learning. The university is ranked among top 20 public universities worldwide and top two in Canada. UBC has close relationship with NTNU. The Office of Teacher Training and Career Service has been promoting the in practice teaching of pre-service teachers. In 2017, eight pre-service teachers have gone to UBC for a two-week practice teaching; three pre-service teachers from UBC have come to Taiwan and finished their practice teaching. Some significant result has shown to those who finish their practicum.

NTNU Gymnasts Exceeds at National Intercollegiate Athletic Games 2018

The National Intercollegiate Athletic Games 2018 came to an end on April 15th. Athletes from National Taiwan Normal University have performed fairly well. The professional gymnastic team did well as expected and NTNU Gymnastics has broken the record and bring back 17 gold, 11 silver and 4 bronze, making NTNU the top 1 among all universities in numbers of medals.

NTNU brings you to 5,000 IB Schools in the world

NTNU is proud to receive the first IB certificate for teacher education program in Taiwan. This time, the application of International Education and Mandarin Education were sent and approved. In the future, students may acquire the teaching certificate of IB school directly. It’ beneficial to students in professional skills and career finding.

Alumnus Chang Yu An Becomes Assistant Conductor at Boston Symphony Orchestra

Alumnus Chang Yu An from the Department of Music recently has been selected as the new assistant conductor at Boston symphony orchestra, one of the top five orchestra in the states. He posted on facebook and committed to work diligently to live up to the reputation of Taiwanese conductors.

Chiang Meng Chih Talks at NTNU About Fulfilling Dreams

“Only 3% of the population in the world can pursuit and insist their dream. Other 97% of people may put their dreams aside due to a variety of reason. Do you belong to the 3% or 97%? ”Chiang Meng Chih, an aluma of NTNU living in the states, came back to NTNU on April 9th and shared her story of fulfilling her dream and told students that persistence in the key to success.
