NTNU is known as the cradle of teachers for middle schools in Taiwan, as well as a university that advances in the realms of humanity and arts. When Zhou Qi-Feng, principle of Peking University visited Taiwan’s academic circle a few days ago, his first stop was NTNU. Led by physics-major Principle Guo Yih-Shun, NTNU became the only normal university in Taiwan that entered the World University Rank 2008.
NTNY has improved impressively in Spain’s Internet World University Rank published in 2009, leaping from the 273rd to 173rd. This university ranking, comparing the data in the webpage of these universities, is supported by the European Commission and based on data collected from major online research engines.
On August 6th, Principle Guo Yih-Shun received representatives of China’s higher education circle. He exchanged opinions with faculty from Peking Universit, Qingdao Feiyang Vocational and Technical College and others.
As it is the 50th anniversary of the National Science Council, NTNU, known to be the cradle of general science education, celebrates this year by presenting the fantastic results of the 26 scientific projects that it cooperates with the National Science Council in the form of videos.
