Special Education Center (SEC) of National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) was established in 1974, under the request of Ministry of Education on “The program of Accelerating the Development of Special Education.” The center is the first of its kind of Taiwan. Within more than three decades, SEC was devoted to conducting research, providing guidance and consultation, sponsoring special educators’ professional training, and offering assistance in the field of special education. Due to more and more students with special needs studying in NTNU, SEC’s main mission are to provide all kinds of services within our university and related services nation-wide as well.
