University Affairs Meeting Agreed to National Taiwan University System

On January 15th, a university affairs meeting was held to discuss “National Taiwan University System”. More than 100 meeting representatives and student representatives all agreed to the result of establishing “ ” from National Taiwan Normal University, National Taiwan University, and National Taiwan University of Science and Technology.

International Friendship Exhibition Hall Showing Gifts from Sister Schools

With universities being more interactive than ever, gifts from sister schools are common. The Office of International Affairs designed an International Friendship Exhibition Hall to display what NTNU has received during the years. These precious gifts includes memorial mugs, memorial coins, paintings, memorial plates and so on. The exhibition hall was opened on 7th December.

English Website of NTNU Wins QS-APPLE Silver Award

National Taiwan Normal University recently received a silver award from 2015 QS-APPLE as the Best International Website Page, being the first university in Taiwan that won the title. The crystal award was put in the exhibition hall of international sharing.

NTNU visits University of Tsukuba to Strengthen Cooperation

In order to elevate its research production and the quality of its research, The Department of Life Science, NTNU is now working hard and look up to the University of Tsukuba as a goal. Hence, in November, Director Chien Chiang Ting and other related administrators and professors visited the University of Tsukuba.

NTNU enlisted as Best Uni of Sport Sciences Physical Education and Kinesiology

The first evaluation of Physical Education and Kinesiology has come out. NTNU was rated as one of the top 7 universities in the world. After ranked 22nd in QS Subject Ranking, NTNU once again received global recognition as an excellent university. On the category of teaching capacity, NTNU was praised as one of the most outstanding global university, surpassing McGill University in Canada, Seoul National University in South Korea, the University of Sydney in Australia and other well-known international universities.
