NIAG Gratitude Evening Party

The 2009 National Intercollegiate Athletic Games hosted by NTNU had come to a successful end. In order to acknowledge and to express gratitude to the hard work of the staff, Principle Guo Yih-Shun held a gratitude evening party at Linkou campus. Besides delicious food, there were also live performances by students from the Department of Music to heat up the scene. Furthermore, there was also a lucky draw. Awards were drew one after one by Principle Guo. With the announcement of the first winner, Dean of Student Affairs Fan Jin-Long, the evening party was ready to reach to another climax.

Night at the Department of Civic Education and Leadership

Once a year, the Night at the Department of Civic Education and Leadership was held on May 19th with a stately manner. The theme this year was “The Drama of Our Department”. For full 4 hours, the audience can enjoy up to 7 performances: Each of the 2 classes from freshman to junior year would present one performance while the senior classes would present one jointly. The theme of this year’s Night at the Department of Civic Education and Leadership was themed in drama, but not exclusively. Dance, singing and live band performance were also part of the night.

Graduate Institute of Performing Arts (GIPA) Associate Professor Jerry Hsia (夏學理) vowed to make a change while he took oath of his new position as the head of the Office of University Relations (OUR) today.

NTNU President Requests for Better Performances from Everybody

National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) President Gou Yih-shun (郭義雄) requested NTNU teachers and students to work harder, although NTNU is experiencing a difficulty of budget cut.
