Ralph Rogers

A New Dawn: Internationalisation in the post-Brexit and Post Pandemic Era
Ralph joined the British Council in 2015, first as Director of Business Development in Beijing, moving to Guangzhou in 2016 to take up the position of South China Area Director. Ralph took up the position of Director Taiwan in October 2019.

During his time at the British Council Ralph has worked with numerous government bodies and higher education institutions to help support quality in the internationalisation of higher education, as well as bilingual, multilingual and English medium education.

Before joining the British Council, Ralph spent fifteen years supporting a wide variety of UK companies and institutions enter and grow in the China market, most recently as Managing Director of the British Chamber of Commerce in China, where he assisted many UK education institutions including 14 universities to establish a presence in China.

Ralph has a BA Hons in Modern Chinese Studies and an MA in Applied Translation from the University of Leeds.
