Chung-Chih Wu


Dr. Chung-Chih Wu received his B.S. and Ph. D. degrees in electrical engineering from National Taiwan University, and from Princeton University, respectively. He was with the Industry Technology Research Institute (ITRI), Taiwan, as a researcher in the display division before joining the faculty of National Taiwan University in 1998. He became the distinguished professor of Electrical Engineering Department since 2010 and currently also holds joint appointments with Graduate Institute of Photonics and Optoelectronics and Graduate Institute of Electronics Engineering of National Taiwan University. He is also Distinguished Research Fellow of National Science and Technology Council (NSTC), Taiwan. He served as the Chairman of Electrical Engineering Department, National Taiwan University, from 2019 to 2022. He is now the Vice President of Research and Development, National Taiwan University. He has conducted research and published widely in displays, optics, organic semiconductors and optoelectronics, oxide semiconductors and TFTs, nanotechnologies etc. He was elected Fellow of the Society for Information Display (SID, 2016), and ever served as the editor for the journal of Organic Electronics.
