Béatrice Khaiat is Deputy General Director of Campus France, the French national agency for the promotion of higher education, international student services, and international mobility since March 2022, after two mandates at the head of the Agency.

From 2007 to 2009, she was Deputy Secretary general of the French Presidency of the European Union.

She has also occupied key positions in ministers’ private offices including the former Ministers of higher Education, Claude Allègre and Jack Lang (1997-2000), and the former Prime Minister, Jean-Marc Ayrault(2012-2014).

Béatrice Khaiat holds degrees from ESCP-Europe, Sciences-Po Paris and Johns Hopkins University.

Béatrice KHAIAT was appointed Chevalier in the Order of Legion d’Honneur in 2015 and Officer in the National Order of Merit in 2019.
