Supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) and NTNU, the Advanced Instrumentation Center of National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) is a subordinating unit to the Office of Research and Development of NTNU. The mission of the Center is to integrate the instruments and operating manpower of NTNU, and to provide instrument-related assistance and service to support basic and applied researches for users in Taiwan. The instruments in service include: a) Bruker Avance III HD-600 MHz NMR, b) Bruker APEX II X-ray Single Crystal Diffractometer, c) High Resolution Mass Spectrometer, d) High Resolution Electrospray Mass Spectrometer, e) Bruker D8 X-ray Powder Diffractometer, and f) Confocal Microscope. All these instruments were maintained by technicians and supervised by professors of NTNU.

Furthermore, the Center also provides training courses to users including graduate students so they can gain hands-on experience and learn to operate the instruments to meet their own needs.
