 NTNU Global Alumni Promoted “100-year, 100 paintings! Build the Brand new NTNU”

 

NTNU principal Chang Kuo-en and the alumni association promoted “100-year, 100 paintings! Build the Brand Nw NTNU” activity. The first paintings donation ceremony was held on April 22nd. “The Father of Modern Printing” in Taiwan, professor Liao Hsiu-ping, principal of National University of Arts, Huang Kuang-nan, NTNU professors, Chiang Ming-hsien and Chung Yu-hui firstly responded to the activity and donated their own paintings. NTNU expected to collect 100 paintings to the charity bazaar. The income would be used as the fund of the NTNU development plan.

Principal Chang indicated that cooperated with the one hundred million development plan, NTNU would build the art museum in the future. The construction would start at the end of next year and complete in three years.

NTNU were looking for little amount donation. Many alumni around the world were looking forward to the art museum. Professor Li Chen-ming from the department of arts appealed to the alumni to support this activity. The donation website was spread out recently, http://love.ntnu.edu.tw.
