NTNU Youth Ambassadors Participated in International Youth Ambassadors Program

 NTNU Youth Ambassadors Participated in International Youth Ambassadors Program

 

NTNU Office of International Affairs held the orientation of “ Youth Ambassadors Program”, which was officially held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. OIA invited the students who went to Belize last year to share their experiences and showed the documentary of the program.

In order to response to President Ma’s new policy, “multi-diplomacy” and “culture diplomacy”, OIA started to carry out the “Ministry of Foreign Affairs Youth Ambassadors Program” since 2009. The students went to Belize last year indicated that they had to design both teaching program to the teaching props. The most important thing was they had to adjust the teaching program based on the local situation.

The preparing team in school was going to go to Cape Town, South Africa, this summer. They were chosen out with several abilities, including teaching ability, international affairs participation, service-learning experience, and their personal ability. They were expected to enhance and glorify our culture with NTNU special teaching ability.
