 Primary and Middle School Set Art and Humanities Courses into Action

 
Taiwan first annul meeting of primary and middle school art education took place on June 30th at NTNU. The meeting mainly discussed the art education courses design, teaching strategies, and the present situation and prospect in primary and middle school. 
NTNU principal Chang Kuo-en indicated that the youngsters were facing too much challenges. We should cultivate the next generation to think differently and possessed actual strength. The combination of art and humanities were considerable. Once the art humanities and technology could combine, creativities could show up in technology. It would provide great help in the competitiveness of future Taiwan. 
The manager of National Taiwan Arts Education Center Cheng Nai-wen mentioned that the esthetic economy of 21st century was based on the art humanities courses in school. However, parents often neglect the importance of it and put the emphasis on academic subjects. How to arouse parents’ attention on art education courses was a big issue.
