Hsin Hsin Club After-class Teaching Concerns Disadvantaged Students

 NTNU Hsin Hsin club was founded in 2009, a club devoted to the disadvantaged students. The current head of the club Huang Chen-wei was a junior from Chinese department. He was the second head of the club and the original member of the club. “We are a group of Christian. We share the same belief and the same faith. We expected to give service through love, responsibility, and patience.” He said the object of the club, “Love is based on other’s need and see our responsibility.”

Before NTNU Hsin Hsin club was founded, other universities like NTU and NCCU had Hsin Hsin club already. Grab others experiences and advantages, NTNU finally founded our own two years ago. The club aimed at economic disadvantages students’ need on academic subjects. Besides teaching, the club provided students with love, warmth, and concern, and cultivated them the real value.

Huang Chen-wei expected the club could give service to the senior in the society in the future. Currently the club only visited the home for aged on weekend. He hoped to have more specific plan following up. Huang had aspiration to connect to the world, see the need and give the help.
