HUFS Called On NTNU Exchanged Experience of Academic Experience

 Four students from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Chinese department called on NTNU on August 23rd, exchanged topic directly aimed at the future development of English department and professors teaching program. The director of English department Liang Sun-chieh held the meeting.

Director Liang briefly introduced English department. English department aimed at cultivated professional English teacher at the beginning. As NTNU was turning into Synthesis University, English department encouraged students to have various ways out besides being a teacher. The curriculum content not only emphasized on connection with the world but also studied Amis Tribe syntax, concerned our local aboriginal culture.

HUFS student Li Chou-ying indicated that the trip to Taiwan was mainly wanted to compare the curriculum content of English department with the courses in HUFS. Through understanding English department in other countries and improved their own department. She knew the differences between Taiwan and China through the soap opera in Taiwan after she entered university. She hoped to devote herself in the diplomatic work within China, Taiwan, and Korea. Director Liang indicated through sharing experience, we could learn more about our culture.
