Taiwan and China College Physics Elite Debate Summit
The first Taiwan College physics elite debate competition gathered elites from Taiwan and China, opened on September 2nd. Altogether 6 teams participated in the competition. The competition was completely in English. The four days competition would live broadcast on the Internet.
The activity chairman, president of Chinese Association for Physics Education Chia Chih-ta indicated that history didn’t a lot of people to create, but need somebody to do it, someone to write it down. Everybody presented was the one who wrote the history. He emphasized that the competition included teams from China; it would be a meaningful academic exchange.
The debate was completely in English, tested the contestants’ English ability, debate attitude, and logic. Applied the basic laws of physics, discussed, thought, and debate, gradually discovered the truth of science. Chinese students expected to compete happily, enjoyed physics. Taiwanese students indicated that the importance of relationship between Taiwan and China started from physics.
