Soprano Chu Tai-li Talked about Opera Life

 Taiwanese Italian Soprano Chu Tai-li held the three weeks discourse in NTNU. She would personally teach the students of Graduate Institute of Performing Arts and Department of Music. September 28th, 10 o’clock at education building, she would hold a general lesson lecture about “Chu Tai-li’s Opera Life”. The lecture was for students and public. She would share her life experiences and the differences between western opera and Chinese opera.

Italian famous music critic M. Messinis had high praise for Chu Tai-li. “I couldn’t forget her voice, very enthusiasm. She’s a great Chinese soprano,” said M. Messinis. Chu Tai-li’s students were from all over the world. Many of her students became outstanding performers and educators. She indicated that it was a pleasant to come back to Taiwan to share her teaching experiences. Although three weeks were short, she would emphasize on her personal life experiences.

Chu Tai-li hoped her students not only could have outstanding performances on this road but also like to perform from the heart. She indicated that a lot of knowledge should be based on life, culture, and mind. She also praised the NTNU student’s quality.
