NTNU Professional Education Specialty Seminar Persisted with Teachers Discipline
NTNU held the professional education specialty seminar on September 23rd, invited National Central University professor Ko Hua-wei and Taipei Municipal Ming Lun High School principal Wang Wen-chu discussed about the National Science Council plan application and senior high school present situation. NTNU principal emphasized that NTNU wouldn’t give up teachers education specialty while reforming to comprehensive university.
“ Who would do the teacher education research besides professional NTNU?” pointed out by professor Ko Hua-wei in the speech. When the education questions popped out in the society, NTNU seldom stood out and speak. She suggested NTNU students and teachers participated in National Science Council plan, organized team, did the domestic education research.
Teacher education was already part of the education research. NTNU center of teacher education and career service director Lin Chen-yung indicated that the need of teachers was declining due to the fewer babies born. NTNU would develop multi-dimensionally and create special education courses, combine academic research, apply National Science Council plan, and even publish issue. Center of teacher education and career service would hold 8 teacher education competitions recently to stimulate student’s creativity and promote competitive power.
