NTNU Students Showed Appreciation with Painting

In order to celebrate the relaunch of Wen Hui Ting and Teacher’s Day, NTNU held the “Draw My Teacher” portrait sketching activity on September 28th afternoon. 20 students from Department of Art apply their specialty to record the teaching time for teachers. Students from Department of Music accompanied on the side.

“Draw My Teacher” attracted many teachers to participate in it, including NTNU principal Chang Kuo-en, vice principal Cheng Chi-fu, former principal Chien Mao-fa, academic chief Lin Shu-chen, secretary Lin An-pan, and library manager Chen Chao-chen. The “Draw My Teacher” activity was advanced by the idea hamster principal Chang Kuo-en. He indicated that NTNU department of art was a traditional and distinctive department. NTNU invested many efforts on managing the department; it was a great time to show some appreciation to teachers on Teacher’s Day. The teachers just want to feel some respect. The former principal Chien Mao-fa was very joyful to see the complete portrait. He indicated that the activity was meaningful.

The “Draw My Teacher” activity ended successfully with the beautiful melody. Not only brought the unforgettable memory to all teachers, the portraits were priceless.
