NTNU Professor Patent Result on Taipei Int’l Invention Show & Technomart

 Taipei International Invention Show & Technomart came up on September 29th. NTNU Department of Chemistry professor Lin Chen-huang invented “whistling detection”. It could rapidly measure the gas. Department of Industry Education professor Hung Jun-chou designed 11 types of digital games, combined education and entertainment, attracted many business request.

The biggest invention exhibition in Asia “Taipei Int’l Invention Show & Technomart” was held from September 29th to October 2nd. 23 countries, over 1000 stands, almost 700 inventors, entrepreneurs, and academic unit participated in the exhibition. It was the platform for the cooperation of new technology and business. NTNU professor Lin Chen-huang led his Ph. D student Lin Chien-hung invented “ECO- whistling sound waves sensitive technology”. The application applied this technology could easily detect the air gas.

Another invention was professor Hung Jun-chao led “NTNU Digital Games Learning Laboratory” members to invent 11 types of digital education games. Professor Hung indicated that the invention was started from 2005. He emphasized that “Learning by Playing” in his invention. The learners would gain knowledge while playing the games.
