NTNU Teachers and Alumni Set Up Donation Scholarship
Lots of students stop continued to school due to family problems. NTNU provided hundreds of scholarship and multiple choices to get a part time job in school. Besides attracted outstanding students to study, the scholarship helped students to pass the hard time as well. The former academic chief Fang Chin-long founded the “Pay Back Scholarship” three years ago. The purpose was to help students passed the hard time while studying in school. After they graduated and had the ability to help others, they would expect donate some money to school too.
Academic chief Fang Chin-long donated 300 thousands NT dollars as his mother’s name three years ago to found the scholarship account. Many teachers and citizens made response to his act. The resident around NTNU Wu Chen Hung-tao donated huge amount of money to school many times. Now she even founded her own scholarship, continuously helped students in NTNU. 50-year department of physics and chemistry alumnus Li Yi-fa donated 5 million NT dollars to NTNU this June. He promised to donate 1500 thousands in the following years. Fan Hsiuh-chun from counseling center founded “Jesus Loves You, Mother Loves You Scholarship” in year 99.
Students didn’t need poor proof to apply for the scholarship. Only the score must achieved the standard and also to write the pay back plan. Teachers, alumni, and entrepreneur were welcome to donate money and passed down the love.
