NTNU and National Palace Museum Associated Product Design Competition

 The culture creative industry was the hottest industry in Taiwan, how could the local designers showed their talent? National Palace Museum and NTNU cooperated to hold a competition. The first prize was 200000 NT dollars and the designed product could be published. National Culture and Art Award owner, NTNU department of Visual Art Design professor Lin Pan-sung indicated that the greatest competence of Taiwan culture and art development environment was the completely inheritance of Chinese culture on the speech in National Palace Museum.

National Palace Museum cooperated with NTNU creative center held “the rebirth of culture and art- 2011 National Palace Museum creative prize” product design competition and held the series of lecture. Professor Lin Pan-sung was invited to talk about “the National Palace Museum culture elements and design application” on October 8th. He indicated that Taiwan had the power of creativity and the deep culture roots. We should elaborate these superiorities, combined industry marketing, and pushed the designed products to the international market. He shared the successful experiences of National Palace Museum, Franz, and himself.

The competition combined “Renaissance” and “eco-recycle”. National Palace Museum encouraged competitor showed the creativity and imaginary and turned into fashion practical culture art commerce.
