NTNU and division of preparatory programs for overseas Chinese students combined four years ago. Most of the student’s in DPPOCS were graduated from high school overseas. Most of them were from Hong Kong, Macao, or east south Asia. They took a year course in DPPOCS and assigned into different university. About thousands of students came to Taiwan to study every year. These students encountered problems like language and culture adaption. Director Pan emphasized that the teachers in DPPOCS were patience and passion. They were welling to help students with the problems on either studies or daily life. DPPOCS also held different kinds of activities for students during the holidays.

Director Pan indicated that the reasons why the DPPOCS and CISEOC were in the same division were because of “international” and also “education for overseas”. The overseas students graduated from DPPOCS had brilliant performances in society. He believed NTNU could become the spot of overseas education and cultivated more students around the world.
