Tokyo University of The Arts Called on NTNU

“The traditional arts shouldn’t be limited, students should create new tradition.” Seven Professors from the cradle of Japanese artists, Tokyo University of The Arts called on NTNU department of art and culture and art center on October 11th.

Tokyo University of The Arts cultivated many Japanese represented artists. The department of art was called the cradle of the Japanese painters and artists. Many of the Taiwanese artists studied in Tokyo University of The Arts either. They had the music department as well. They walked around NTNU campus to appreciate the historical building in school and the precious paintings NTNU preserved.

The purpose of the visit was to learn how the teaching condition of the students after they studied in Japan. For example, director of the culture and art center Chang Yuan-feng. NTNU expected to sign the sister school contract with Tokyo University of The Arts through the visit this time.
