Dalian University of Technology Called On NTNU
Vice principal of Dalian University of Technology Li Chi-yi and his crew called on NTNU on October 13th. NTNU vice dean of studies Liu Hsiang-lin, vice chief of office of international affairs Liang Yi-ping introduced the features of NTNU and our general courses system. We expected for the further cooperation in the future.
Dalian University of Technology located in Dalian city, China, was the prior constructed University in China 211 and 985 projects. It was the first institution of high education in China. At the beginning of the conference, Liang Yi-ping emphasized, “The education is where the people are”. She briefly introduced the history of NTNU and how NTNU was transforming to a comprehensive university.
The general courses in NTNU provided students a chance to learn something beside their major. The whole education center founded this year in charge of combining university whole education. Dalian University of Technology had continuously popularized the general courses in school, both sides expected to have science cooperation in the future.
