Hong Kong Alumnus Ho Wei-chih Donated Scholarship

 As the 100-year compatriots return celebration was undergoing, Hong Kong alumnus Ho Wei-chih graduated from department of adult and continuing education specially returned to NTNU and donated 600 thousand NT dollars as the scholarship in department of ACE. Principal Chang Kuo-en and the director of department of ACE Chen Chung-yen represented to receive.

Hong Kong alumni association founded in 1961 was the oldest overseas alumni association in NTNU. This year happened to be the 50-year anniversary. Hong Kong alumni association concerned the development of NTNU for a long time. They donated for the building funds and scholarship many times, supported NTNU with the practical acts. The president of Hong Kong alumni association Ma Yung-hsian, department of ACE Chen Yung-chih, department of education Mo Li-chiung, and the department of Chinese Ho Ping-chuan participated in the donated ceremony.

Ho Wei-chih graduated as the first year of Department of ACE. He was the manager of Ho Wei-chih limited company. He participated in and helped out with many activities. He appreciated the graciousness of the education of department of ACE and tried to encourage the new students by setting up the scholarship.
