Number 334 School Administrative Conference
NTNU number 334 school administrative conference was held at international hall on November 30th. Before the meeting, principal Chang Kuo-en commended 13 outstanding staff and manual workers.
Principal Chang indicated that besides the certificate, school provided ten thousand NT dollars bonus for the outstanding staffs. But this was not a huge amount. For example, while one of the staffs was evaluated for the building of information teaching building, his hard work saved a hundred billion NT dollars of expenditure for the school. Estimating from the distribution, staff’s value was far over the bonus. Principal Chang also mentioned that NTNU teachers and students had outstanding performances in the period of time. Many awards received such as the best theory paper and the woman basketball team defeated Chinghua University by 130:30 on the first pre-game.
On the comprehensive affairs, the chief of academic affairs Lin Shu-chen indicated they would emphasize on students mind counseling. School would build up complete safety network between department teachers, health center, and office of students’ affairs. As for the academic part, students digital learning portfolio system was complete and under control by the Center for Holistic Education (Preparatory Office). Students were able to check every record in school in the system. The curfew issue of dorm that most students concerned, Chief Lin indicated that students would no longer be banned by the curfew and more safety measures would be taken to protect students.
