NTNU Tian Chia-chen Award First Women’s 10 Metre Air Pistol Golden Award Ever in Taiwan History

 Tian Chia-chen from NTNU Graduate Institute of Athletic Performance award the women’s 10 metre air pistol golden medal in 2012 International Shooting Association World Cup game in London. It was the first air pistol golden medal ever in Taiwan world cup history. 

80 in total contestants participated in the women’s 10 metre air pistol game. Tian Chia-chen was the first place in pre game with 388 points and 100.5 points in final game won her the champion. It was her first world cup golden medal. Her world ranking had gone up from 73 last year to 33. 
Tian Chia-chen indicated after the game that it was great to win the golden medal before the Olympic game. She had practiced it for a long time. She appreciated her family’s support and her coach’s help, dedicated the golden medal to them. Tian Chia-chen was sent to Guang Dong for training when she was 15. 
Tian Chia-chen had won the ticket to London Olympic game last year. Since then, she had adjusted her training and body to the great condition. She is ready to face the challenges in the future.
