2012 OIA Short-Term Summer Program for International Students

 The 2012 short-term summer program for international students held by NTNU Office of International Affairs ended on July 26th. OIA held the farewell party for 26 participated students and teachers. Every student prepared the show with Taiwanese culture. The international student Sean from United States officially applied for regular exchange student in NTNU. He was accepted by Department of History and would study in NTNU afterward.

The short-term summer program was held from July 4th to 27th. The courses for a month included Taiwanese culture introduction, famous spots visit, and short trip out of Taipei. 
The international student Sean from United States indicated that he was attracted to Taiwanese culture after the first week of the program. He studied international relations in United States and expected to learn the history from different perspective of view. Sean could speak fluent Mandarin. He had accepted by Department of History and would work hard to graduate from it.
Director of OIA Chen Chiu Lan attended the farewell party to send students off. She encouraged students to keep on learning and learn from different dimension. Vice director Liang Yi Ping specially sang a Chinese traditional song as a gift for students. Everyone had a great time.
