NTNU Infantile Autism Student Received the Masterpiece of Physical and Mental Disability Art Creation Award

 NTNU Department of Special Education and the College of Continuing and Extension Education held the “2012 Outstanding Infantile Autism Art Creative Student Workshop”. The participated student Huang Wu Peng received the “9th Masterpiece of Physical and Mental Disability Art Creation Award”. He would be granted an interview by the President and the Legislative Yuan on the 13th of December.

The workshop was originated from the director of Department of Special Education Kuo Ching Zi’s National Science Council plan “The research of the nerve and psychology comparison between outstanding mathematics and science performances student and infantile autism student.” She discovered three students, Li Po Yi, Lin Chi Sheng, and Huang Wu Peng, had outstanding performances on the art creation field. In order to assist them to develop their skills, the plan provided the art and creation lessons. Li Po Yi was the well-known young artist. He had been invited to hold the exhibition in New York for several times. Huang Wu Peng just started to paint a year ago. The award he received this time was the great feedback for him.
