Graduate Institute of Translation and Interpretation Moved to Taishun Street Lane 60

 In order to use the space more wisely, NTNU built a building on Taishun Street Lane 60 since last March. The structure of the building was completed on the 21st of January and the opening ceremony was held. 

Principal Chang Kuo En, Vice Principal Cheng Chi Fu, Lin Tung Tai, the head of office of general affairs Wu Chung Hsin attended the ceremony.
After the construction, Graduate Institute of Translation would move into the building. The dean of the Institute Lai Tsi Yun indicated that the teacher research room would move to the new building. Some of the classes would be taught there as well. Principal Chang Kuo En expected the construction of the new building could solve the problem of the not enough space. He appreciated the residences around understood NTNU’s situation and tolerated the construction.
NTNU would keep on combining the land in and out of campus, reconstructed the old buildings, and raised the teaching quality. The new building on Taishun Street was the first new building in the plan. Principal Chang expected this to set a role model for the following construction.
