Shanghai Normal University Postgraduate Students Teaching Intern in Taiwan

 NTNU cooperated with China Shanghai Normal University for the first time. They arranged 15 postgraduate students to do the teaching internship in Taiwan. On the opening ceremony on the 4th of March, vice director of Shanghai Normal University postgraduate student office Ho Chao Hsia indicated that this would the hugest exchange teaching internship program for the first time. The vice dean of NTNU College of Continuing and Extension Education Hung Ren Chin and director Huang Chia Li from Office of Teacher Education and Careers Service encouraged student that to cherish this chance and learn. 

The education revolution had continued in Taiwan since the past ten years, the educational issues and teacher education and program had improved a lot. Shanghai Normal University hoped to learn from Taiwan through selecting the postgraduate students to study and observe the courses in Taiwan. They expected to understand the differences of educational system between Taiwan and China and increase the teacher training quality in China. 
The period of the internship was from the 4th of March to the 24th of May. The 15 postgraduate students from Shanghai Normal University including the study fields in language, mathematics, English, physics, chemistry, biology, history, music, geography, and art. They were separated in different junior high schools and senior high schools.
Direcotr Huang Chia Li explained that the students represented both Shanghai Normal University and National Taiwan Normal University two identities. NTNU hoped students could maintain contact with NTNU and do their best on teaching.
